I know. The Massif is a very special case, however, as it was produced by a factory owned by Iveco in Spain, which had had previously been Metalurgica de Santa Ana. This company, or "Santana" produced license-built Land Rovers until 1983, and models derived from them afterwards. The Massif was developed from Santana's Land Rover successor.
Sadly, it was not greatly successful.

You're looking for the Santana PS-10, which is a simpler, spanish built version of the LR Defender. Should be horrible in any possible way.
It does have an Iveco engine though, as other guys pointed out.

*Cough*
The Iveco Massif was developed from the PS-10, which rather than being developed from the Defender proper grew out of the Series III in parallel. That's why I (failingly) attempted to provide a Wikipedia link to the page for the Massif. It was produced in Spain as well.
Also, the Santana L-Rs were of surprisingly good quality for many years, and I wouldn't expect the PS-10 to be much different.
Please investigate the information I provide on something before assuming me to be wrong.
